The London Bel Canto Festival is proud to announce that along side our distinguished professor Bruce Ford, the internationally renowned soprano Aprile Millo will be our very honoured visiting master, offering master classes to our lucky young artists. She has also graciously offered to perform in a Young Artist's Concert with selected singers at the wonderful Cadogan Hall in London on Saturday, 18 August 2018!


The London Bel Canto Festival brings the best of bel canto performance and vocal studies to London. Come learn why bel canto technique is the foundation of great singing FOR ANY REPERTOIRE OR VOICE TYPE! The LBCF Academy will be offering the highest level of vocal training and mentoring from world-renowned performers to a few gifted singers. The repertoire is not restricted to bel canto but is open to any period.

Festival Recital Opportunities

The London Bel Canto Festival is looking for exciting emerging operatic talent from around world who would like to make their London debut. There will be full and half recital opportunities throughout. Apply now for your chance!

Opera Academy

World-class training from some of the top performers in the field of Bel Canto. Apply for the two-week academy. Every student will receive daily private singing lessons and coaching, as well as the chance to perform in concerts and master classes.

Singing Lessons and Repertoire

Singing teachers include world-renowned bel canto tenor Bruce Ford, Nelly Miricioiu, and the founder of the Bel Canto Vocal Studio K E Querns-Langley. The coaches will include pianist Roberto Bertuzzi from La Fenice in Italy, as well as the wonderful Danish pianist Janus Araghipour.

Performance and Theatricality

Students at the academy will have the opportunity to have master classes with one of the greatest bel canto conductors Maestro David Parry. There will also be other wonderful master classes from Nelly Miricioiu and Bruce Ford! And let's not forget the fantastic performance practice teachers!
