Simone has worked with Maestro Richard Bonynge, Leone Magiera, and Aprile Millo. Recently she sang a concert of exclusively bel canto works with Baritone Lars Fosser. She has been invited to present an LBCF half-recital.

Maria Due Marstal is currently finishing her bachelor of music in singing at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. She will begin her masters next year. This award will help her to cover her room and board at the festival.

Therese Nielsen is a young soprano currently studying at a pre- conservatoire in Denmark. She very talented but at the beginning of her studies. The Mathilde Marchesi Award is providing partial fees for the course so that she can attend.
